The Tata Punch EV: Coming Soon to Nepal

The much-awaited Tata Punch EV is set to hit the market soon. Although Tata Motors Nepal hasn’t confirmed the exact launch date, it’s expected to debut at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2024, just like the Tiago EV.

Built on New Gen 2 Acti.EV Architecture

The Punch EV is built on Tata Motors’ innovative Gen 2 Acti.EV architecture, pronounced ‘active’. This architecture will also be the foundation for other upcoming Tata EVs and SUVs, including the Curvv EV, Sierra EV, and Harrier EV.

Powertrain and Performance of Tata Punch EV

The Punch EV is expected to come in two variants: Standard Range and Long Range.

• Standard Range: Equipped with a 25 kWh battery, it produces 60 kW of power and 114 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 13.5 seconds and has a range of up to 315 km.
• Long Range: Features a 35 kWh battery, generating 90 kW of power and 190 Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in under 9.5 seconds and offers a range of up to 421 km.

Charging Options of Tata Punch EV

The Punch EV supports various charging options:

• 3.3 kW Wall Box Charger
• 7.2 kW Fast Charger
• DC Fast Charging: Charges from 10% to 80% in just 56 minutes using a 50 kW fast charger.
