Yamaha R15 v4 Price, Specification, and Features in Nepal
The fourth-generation model of the R15 is packed with an extensive range of features. Its redesigned front end showcases a bi-functional LED headlamp accompanied by LED DRLs and indicators. The bike also boasts a new digital instrument console inspired by the YZF-R1, which incorporates Yamaha’s connectivity app. This console offers various modes such as Street and Track, along with additional features like a lap timer, gear position indicator, call/message alerts, mobile battery status, connection status, average fuel efficiency, and last parked location. Furthermore, the console provides access to information such as instantaneous fuel economy, intake air temperature, eco indicator, degree of throttle opening, and rate of acceleration.
Taking things a step further, the R15M variant enhances the riding experience by equipping a color TFT console, traction control, and a quick-shifter as standard features. Some variants also allow the option to add a quick-shifter as an extra feature.
In terms of the engine, the Yamaha R15 V4 retains the same performance as its predecessor. It continues to employ a 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 18.4PS of power and 14.2Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch.
Regarding suspension and brakes, the R15 V4 receives significant improvements with the introduction of a new USD (Upside Down) fork. The bike retains its delta box frame and features a preload-adjustable linked mono-shock. Both the front and rear are equipped with disc brakes, accompanied by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. As a standard fitment, the R15 V4 includes a rear radial tire, while the front tire remains a bias-ply unit.
