SHIFT THE GEARS ON X-PULSE!

With the launch of a new mid-ranged, 200cc, adventurous bike X-pulse, the company has leaped their business. With the fact that there has been a lot of endeavors to introduce an affordable adventure bike in the past, Hero has finally had its count on x-pulse. The latest Hero X-pulse with its all-new aspects has been able to mark itself as the most sold 200cc bikes of Hero.

WHY SHOULD I BUY THE NEW X-PULSE?

Most of us desire to have our hands-on powerful, aggressive bike that incorporates all the sportier setups and will not have any shortage of speed. But do you think it to be pragmatic in context to the roads and traffic of Nepal?

X-pulse on the other hand with its sleek build up and lightweight will go through the busy roads like a hot knife through margarine. Apart from that, talking about fuel efficiency, this motorbike can go up to 400kms on a single tank which is 13 ltr. A close calculation to it gives the number 40kms per liter. X-pulse, one of the most affordable dirt bikes in Nepal comes with the price tag of Rs. 3,35,000 for the baseline variant.

DO WE HAVE ANY ALTERNATIVES ON THE BIKE?

There are two variants of Hero X-pulse, the 200 and the 200t. Starting the talk from design, the X-Pulse 200 bears a resemblance to Hero extreme. Manufactured as a touring bike, the 200 T is lighter and less powerful in contrast to the 200. The 200cc X-Pulse packs all the elements that make it more like a full-blown aggressive version.

To make things even better, the 200t has the shiny metal bash plate, a longer friend beak and the knuckle guard to give some extra touch for style. The other difference that they have is, the 200 has an upswept exhaust which is a normal unit on the 200 T. To make it simpler, 200 has all these eye-catchy features and the X-Pulse 200t is more purposeful and significantly cheaper. With having all these distinctions, both the versions are worthy and you will not lament your investment on them. The color scheme of the 200 T is very mellow whereas that of the 200 is a total escapade.

Both variants have fully digital instrument clusters that provide the supplementary feature of Bluetooth connectivity. For this, you have to download an app on your cellphone and connect to the console to navigate through places and keep your trip records. All the odometer, tachometer, twin trip, and gear indicators lie in the exact same places where you want them to be.

HOW DOES HERO X-PULSE PERFORM?

Stocked with 199.6 ccs oil-cooled, 4 strokes 2  valve single cylinder, it generates 18.4PS of power and 17.1NM of torque. The 5-speed constant mesh gearbox will not let you down on any counts with its smooth and swift shifts either. The 157kg bike with the big 21-inch front wheel is equipped with 37mm telescopic front suspension. Likewise, it is equipped with a 10-step adjustable mono-shock rear suspension.

OUR TAKE ON HERO X-PULSE

X-Pulse is undoubtedly an excellent bike. Coming in two versions, the 200 T is predominantly a touring-centric bike while the 200 focuses more on adventure objectives. People were touting Royal Enfield Himalayan as the only adventure bike available in Nepal. However, the X-pulse 200 T stunned them coming up with half the price. I perceive there are people who still miss the Hero Impulse. Well I can definitely say, that void is now filled up.
